About Kingdent LTD
Kingdent Dental Laboratory was founded by Dara King, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where he earned recognition for the best practical piece in his class of 1995. Dara spent nine years honing his restorative skills at the Burlington Dental Clinic, working on everything from single-unit crowns to full-mouth implant cases.
In 2008, Dara established Kingdent in Galway with a clear mission: to merge traditional craftsmanship with emerging digital technologies — without compromising on quality. His dedication to professional excellence earned him the distinction of being Ireland’s only fully qualified Straumann Platinum Technician from 2011 to 2015. From theory to skillset ,Dara attends study clubs, conferences in Europe and in the USA as well as online learning.
In 2014, Dara and his wife returned to their hometown of Cavan with their two young sons, where Kingdent now operates as a family-run, client-focused lab. Outside the lab, Dara enjoys windsurfing and coaches County Cavans U14s RFC team where he played and was also Director of Rugby.
